What I Want For 2026

I feel like 2026 is going to be my year.
Why do I say that?
The short answer is simple: because I believe in myself and what I’m capable of.
There have been times I’ve doubted myself — especially when I didn’t get the response I hoped for from the people I thought would show up the most. But I’m choosing to leave that mindset behind and start this year fully aware of my worth.
I’ve learned that life doesn’t always go the way we plan, and as much as I wish I could change the past, I know that isn’t possible. What is possible is moving forward with clarity, confidence, and intention.
My goals for my business
I would love for my crafts to find a place in homes where they can be enjoyed and cherished — to be given as gifts that make someone say, “Wow, thank you so much for such a thoughtful gift.”
I want to be able to give back to the community by helping those who are not as fortunate as we are — creating gift baskets for fundraising events that support meaningful causes and help people in need, because we all know someone who could use a little help now and then.
Most of all, I want my son to see that when you work hard at something — even when it’s difficult — that hard work truly pays off. I want him to know that you can do something you love without needing to be the highest-paid person in the room. Loving what you do and finding purpose in it means more than any number in a bank account.
My goals outside of my business
(Because if I say them out loud, I’ll be more accountable… right?)
In no particular order:
Keep my house picked up — especially when I know people are coming over
Be more organized with where things are and what needs to be done
Have as much fun as possible with my son and husband every day
Read more books I want to read by scrolling less
Appreciate the people who consistently show up for me
Practice piano more — for fun and for work, because I truly have a talent
Go on more dates — not just with my husband, but with my friends too
I know these things won’t happen overnight, and I’m okay with that — and you should be okay with not meeting your goals too quickly as well. Whatever you’re working toward in your life, I’m here if you need a simple “You got this!” or “Maybe try it this way instead.”
Here’s to a new year of connections, creativity, crafts, and crazy days! We all need a little chaos and fun in our lives to make the journey memorable, joyful, and full of growth.
Happy 2026! May it be your best year yet!
With love and laughter for every kind of day,
Alexandra
